Toad House - 6" wide
This sanctuary can be placed near a pond where frogs will enjoy its shelter as they reduce flying insects or in the yard for the toads to eat slugs and grubs. It works to provide the amphibians with protection from predators and warmth from the sun.
It was hand-thrown on the potters' wheel from a tan clay. At the leather hard stage, a large door is cut out and sculptural items are attached and/or engraved. Then, it is fired in an electric kiln to 2200 degrees to create a durable ceramic finish. It can be left out in all seasons.
All pieces are signed by the artist.
