Pottery Class Tuesday 6:30 pm 8 Weeks
Tuesday, January 7th to February 25th, 2025, 6:30 to 9:00 pm
Class fee includes 25 pounds of clay, instruction, throwing, glazing and firing. You do not need to purchase any other supplies.
Experience the Zen of creating functional works of art. In this class, students will learn the techniques for wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery from raw clay to finished vessel from an experienced, involved teacher.
Classes have participants of various ability from beginner to advanced. Therefore, instruction focuses on the processes of pottery and skill development. Learning is individualized to meet each student's goals.
Make ups for missed classes are allowed during open studio or by attending a different class and can be carried over to subsequent terms. If you are not returning, you have 30 days to complete your pieces.
Additional studio time is available during open studio at a rate of $15 per hour. This does not include an instructor, but someone is usually there for questions.
