Weekly Classes & Open Studio
Our Whitehouse location hosts classes in which students learn the techniques for wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery from raw clay to finished vessel from an experienced, involved teacher. You can also work outside of class during open studio
Experienced potters who aren’t in class, can do open studio at the Branchburg location.
Book a party for 6 to 20 guests or private lessons for up to five people. Gatherings in the barn are led by an experienced potter and teacher. The standard party plan includes a tour of the studio, throwing and hand-building demonstrations, as well as creation of one hand-built decorative tray and one wheel-thrown piece by each guest. Or choose a workshop project, such as birdhouses, tealights or gnomes.
Private Events
Students age 6 to 16 will work under the experienced guidance of a certified teacher to create works of art on the wheel as well as explore sculpture, hand-building and decoration techniques.

“We did the one hour private lesson for two and it was great. Karen is clearly an expert, but also a great teacher. A very fun experience!”
